DATE	EVENT	2008 NEWS
May 4	AKC Breed	Phaith and I went to Trenton KC to try showing again. The entry is 4-2-1-1. Phaith does wonderfully and is Winner's Bitch for 1 point. I am VERY PROUD of this girl, she's come a long way.
April 27	LGRA	Back for day 2 of racing with same PHs as yesterday. Phaedra was 1st and Phoenix was 2nd. Phaedra is over half way to her straight racing title.
April 26	LGRA	I went straight racing in Wall, NJ with Phoenix, Phlirt and the two little ones. Rick and Deb brought Phaedra. The weather was cool and windy, but the dogs had a great time. Phaedra was 1st, Phoenix was 2nd and Phlirt got the turtle.
April 20	ASFA	Day 2 in Waterford, CT. This time there were 22 PHs running: 13 open, 7 FCh and 2 Vets. Phoenix does it again and wins 1st in open and another 40 points. My little Phoebe has a spectacular second run and pulls out 3rd place and 20 points. Phoenix then ran for BOB and won...what a wonderful day! On a side note.......YIPEE Phoenix, Phoebe and Phaedra are all qualified to run at the II. Tooooo Cooool.
April 19	ASFA	We traveled to Waterford, CT for our 1st ASFA trial and in the hopes of getting Phoenix and Phoebe qualified for this years ASFA II in Virginia. This was the 1st trip with the RV this year and everyone got to go including the little ones. There were 20 PHs entered: 11 open, 7 FCh and 2 Vets. I ran Phoenix and Phoebe. Rick and Deb ran their Phaedra (all in open). Phoenix ran phabulously and took 1st in open and 40 points. Phaedra took 2nd after a 2-3-4 run-off, so she earned 30 points. Phoebe was 6th after a not-so-good second run. I huntmastered for Whippets and Ridgebacks, it was fun to get out there again. Rick and Deb learned to huntmaster and Rick actually huntmastered for a few breeds in the final runs. Momma Phlirt got to run a practice run which she thoroughly LOVED!! I camped overnight with the hounds at the field, the little ones did great.
April 13	AKC coursing	Phoebe and Phoenix go back to NJ for more AKC coursing today. Phoenix gets a 4 point major making him 1 point shy of his FCh title. Phancy is BOS again in an entry of 7 in Perry, GA.
April 12	AKC	Phoebe, Phoenix and Phaedra go AKC coursing in Flemington, NJ. We had an entry of 5 open, 2 FCh and 1 Vet. Phoenix earns 2nd in open for another 2 points. Phoebe is 3rd in open for a 1 point. Phaedra is 2nd in FCh stake. Phancy goes AKC coursing in Perry, GA and gets 3rd in the FCh stake. Phancy is BOS again in an entry of 7
April 11	AKC	Phancy is BOS in Perry, GA again in an entry of 1-1-1-1 Phancy does agility again too and earns a qualifying score and a 1st place in Open Jumpers with Weaves.
April 10	AKC breed and agility	Phancy is BOS in Perry, GA in an entry of 1-1-1-1 Phancy does agility in Perry too and earns her 1st qualifying score in Open Standard. Great job you Phancy and Brianna.
April 6	AKC Lure Coursing	In North Branch, NJ we went AKC coursing. There were 14 PHs present - 6 open, 6 FCh and 2 Veterans. Phoenix earned 2nd place in open and 3 single points moving him to 8 points with 1 major. Phoebe earned 3rd place in open and 2 single points moving her to 11 points with both majors. The weather was cold and raw, but the dogs had a good time and did very well. Phuture went along too and had a great time meeting tons of new people and some whippet puppies and some IGs. Phoenix and Phoebe both earned their Senior Courser (SC) certifications today too.
April 5	AKC Lure Coursing AKC Breed	Phaie goes AKC lure coursing in an entry of 1 open and 1 FCh. Phaie is BOB and earns her 1st point. Phaie is also BOB in the showring too. Wahoooooooo.
April 4	AKC Breed	Phaie hits the show ring for the 1st time this year and is BOB in an entry of 2. Way to go Lindsey and Phaie.
March 29	AKC Lure Coursing	In Syosset, NY we went AKC lure coursing. There were 13 PHs present - 4 open, 7 FCh and 2 Veterans. Phoenix earned 1^st place in open and a 3-point major (his 1^st major); Phoebe earned 2^nd place in open and 1 point. Phaedra was 3^rd in the FCh stake, so earned her first 2 LCX points. We all had a wonderful time. It was nice to get the hounds out to course for the 1^st time this spring.
March 22	AKC Agility ASFA coursing Misc	In GA - Phancy competed again in Novice standard and Novice jumpers today and earned her 1st two titles in agility - the NA and NAJ. Phancy earned 1st in each "B" class in an entry of 10 dogs in each. Well done Phancy and Brianna. Now on to the open classes. In NJ, Phaedra competed in ASFA lure coursing and ran wonderfully and was BOB and BEST IN FIELD (BIF). Wohoo. Go Phaedra and Rick. This is Phaedra's 2nd BIF. In PA - Emily (Phelix's new forever Mom) and her Mom came for a visit this morning. Both Phelix and Phuture loved the attention and puppy kisses and love nips were freely given to everyone.
March 21	AKC Agility	In GA, Phancy continues her agility career and earned qualifying scores in both Novice Standard and also in Novice Jumpers. These were her 2nd qualifying scores in each - 1 more to go. She took 2nd in one class and 1st in the other. Way to go Phancy and Brianna!
March 19		Phlirt celebrated her 7th birthday. She is now considered a Veteran.
March 15	LGRA	We went straight racing today. Phoebe and Phoenix met their sister, Phaedra, at Pennsville, NJ. Phoenix won his 1st race meet earning 1 GRC point and 1 National GRC point. Phaedra was 2nd and earned 0.5 GRC and 0.5 National GRC point.
January 26	AKC Rally	In Nashville, TN, Phancy earned her 3rd and final leg toward her Rally Advanced (RA) title. Her housemate Femi earned her MACH2 title. And Phancy's cousin Trey earned his Rally Advanced Title today too, earning all 3 qualifying scores on Thurs, Fri and Sat of this weekend. Way to go Brianna and Bekki.
January 25	AKC agility	Phancy Q's in Novice B Standard today. Phancy is on her way.
January 24	AKC agility	Phancy makes her debut in agility Novice B Jumpers and she qualifies. Wahoo!!!!
January 16		Phlower crossed Rainbow Bridge this evening. She is now with her Uncle Phantom.
January 14		Litter # 2 is born at CharmedWons - 2 girls and 1 boy.
