The Pharaoh hound breed is
one of a few breeds in which a large percentage of the dogs
exhibit versatility in multiple activities whether it be
conformation, lure coursing, racing, obedience, agility, tracking,
herding or other activities. These dogs are extremely
intelligent (sometimes too much) and are extremely capable of
participating in a variety of activities. Pharaoh hounds are
the hound breed with the highest number of AKC DUAL champions, a testimony to
their wonderful versatility.
In addition to having a phabulous time with your Pharaoh
hound in the day to day activities of walks, romps in the backyard, lounging
in the shade or in the middle of your bed, hunting "critters", etc, there are
